Post 8. Morning’s for Writing

In the evening no one is realeased, I hate that guy. I must learn to cooperate with him I guess. Goodmorning everyone, it is I, the one and only I. WordPress and followers I am closing in on the end of my novella, I am about 15k words to the finish. Before you say wait, hold up, 15k words is a lot, I catch writing fever towards the end of my manuscripts. ūü§° Two to three weeks from now I should be done at the least. Now on to the nice picture with the nice caption. Morning writing is the best for me. In the morning I come fresh out of dream land ready to type away. I wake up from 4 to about 6 am ready to write for about 3 to 4 hours. I put away my world and go back into my self induced dream. Except I can move. That’s important. Editing is my worst enemy truth be told, I must overcome him if I am ever to release something. I spent 4 months away from Kamikaze and Lawyer in the Sand. I am ready to tackle them. Working on the J. Tinton novella is so fun because of how I am writing, I get a biy of leeway with grammar and structure. To me it’s shaping up. Love it. I love writing. I can confidently say that. I LOVE WRITING! Time to make friends with the editor. Ciao.ūüėÄ

Post 5. The Homebound Wanderer

A footstep forward, ever closer to home

I know where I must go but, should I make it

Could I do it, my heart says no. I made this journey

But, it isn’t an adventure. There is no purpose,

There is no thrill, there is me seeking will.

Me trying to find, the power to fly, back to my

Abode, where I dwell in solace and in company.

That will and power I find a long the way will be

Worth it. Yes! It certainly will. Until then, I must walk,

Traverse the cities and towns, tread the mountains and hills

Sail the seas and oceans, navigate through my mind.

I wander till I stumble upon my home, where I can feel sane with myself alone.

Post 2. A poem of Solace

There is a time in ones life where you have to wonder

What am I suppose to do, this why must I ponder

Is it not just enough to live, and do what is most pleasing

That splendor of life is very much teasing.

The barriers of life, society, a singular force

Yet, a plural being transcending multiple planes,

Aims to block me from my heart and minds desires, of course.

Yes! Life is one giant game. Learn to play, land on broadway.

Ignore the rules land on broadway.

Understand the rules. Own broadway.

This is what we have been taught. But you not many understand.

Some choose to still stay in the stands.

Some choose to go with the flow, those coarse sands too are fluid.

Some rather go against the grain until, their life becomes lucid.

Against all odds, all 3 paths choose to struggle.

Forever progression to a path of comfort, though some may never find

Or even taste that thing in the world that to them binds.

40. A number, age and an abstract Pt. 1

So, to start off, I say hello to all. (A short ¬†greeting) I use this title to play upon the last conversation’s segway into perception, using the title of course to do a little blending. So 40. A number, age or an abstract. Perception is one of the most powerful tools in a perons or group arsenal of social or even anti-social methods. Within every human being’s method of thought, perception is one of the most key component. Perception is able to create “right” or “wrong” instances even though fact, concrete evidence or plain simple logic dictates other wise. And even within sound logic, a person’s perception can be manipulated¬†by¬†the one with the more robust tone of thought through a simple avenue called speech (best example: Politicians). While perception is the most dangerous when you used improperly (For harm), it is also so very revolutionary in terms of our technology, food, economy and of course negotiations on a micro and macro level. Every piece of technology built on this earth, was based on the way an inventor perceived things; every war was stopped due to perception as well as every dish was prepared (yum). Amongst the plethora actions perception has shaped our world we must of course perceive what perception is. A more firm ¬†and physical definition would describe it as the way we see, feel, touch, taste and hear our environment. And now the more complicated abstract definition; the way we identify with our world through understanding. So what is the argument that perception is dangerous? Through a physical means, perception or awareness is very limited in scope but yet differs greatly from person to person due to physical differences found between people. One thing is very certain 99% of the time. If we were to take 3 people from all over the world. Hot is hot, cold is cold, pain is pain, danger is danger, water is water, food is food and of course so on. In a biological sense as well, there is a innate reproductive sense between male and female if we were to make them opposite sexes. The physical side of perception allows for a cohesive unit of thought through sense between two people or more based on physiological similarities. Let us remember, perception is the way we identify with the world using our senses, we are merely on the physical aspect. The same way water can hydrate or drown a person is the same with all people and in some cases animals too. Like wise with high temperature. How we react to these physical stimuli creates a need. The mental aspect¬†of¬†perception allows for the¬†materialization of a counter force to combat or make certain stimuli advantageous in a physical or abstract sense; this is where perception begins to show its true power.

The 39th Drop? What is.

The 39th fall wasn’t something that was, for me at least, something I attempted or determined to do. In the bible, it says a man falls seven times, along with other religions or religious books, that forgiveness whether by a man or a deity is unconditional until ultimate serenity is reached. What determines a fall? Does it mean that at one point before being “upright,” a decision that was out of my control led me to leave my internal peace? External peace? Who determines what is right or wrong? Is it our innate morals of guilt that we are born with guide is to a life that is “morally” correct? If we were born and became able to move with no knowledge of anything and it rained, “instincts” supposedly tells us to seek shelter. If the same situations is applied to meeting another person we would do one of three things as per our instincts; try to communicate, attack or flee. Is there an internal instinct that helps us determine that we fell? How do we determine that it ¬†is genuine without our environment? This is just me typing a thought, an idea. If a man or woman doesn’t feel he or she is wrong, are they still wrong? If the world is reality then how can the world be as we percieve it to be? Reality by defenition is universal. Perception is not. Are we imposing upon our freedom of perception to force a farce of a reality on others causing them to fall? The 39th drop is just a moment of my mind to make peace of itself. I am not happy about certain things in my life from what I have done or currently did do, but by my standards. It is an intermingling mix of ideas, wisdom and knowledge that allow me based on who I am that determines that I fell today or yesterday at that point of my life. It is quite impossible to blank slate anyone but, if we blank slated myself, could I still say at being a basic human without interaction of another person to say that I fell at this point? The 39th drop, is not a fall but, maybe a stock chart. It is still going, with constant dips but, also with constant acensions. As the thought process about what a fall is can be critiqued so can an ascension. This maybe nonsense, or a nerd storm, but what is life without a person wanting to converse about it?

32nd about a book called…

image

Followers, passer-byers and WordPress! How are you on this Monday? I mentioned in the last post, I would be doing my first book review in my next post. Well lets do it! Without further ado I introduce to you war/SONG: Hymnal I by Miss Vanessa Gravenstein. (Please note I have not done a book review before) Hymnal I is the first installment of the war/SONG series. It starts out dark whilst dropping you into the middle of a scene of suspense and action with Drew Sunisiard who is the lead protagonist and a very powerful magi of fire. He is apparently part of a rag tag coven of other powerful magi sworn with battling with… VAMPIRES! Before you think Twilight read on. The opening scenes were masterfully descriptive and very colorful as the author showcases her use of diction to keep you involved as if you were in a movie. This comment does is not limited to only the opening pages, I joke not. Take this part for instance “He was silent as she ascended the stairs, the bright lights from above casing a shadow that lingered after she herself, with her venomous words and enhancing laughter, had vanished. The quiet seemed to shovel itself in upon him, and from the depths a poem pirouetted through his mind” If you liked that there is more where that came from. Though it is a short read, Gravenstein does a great job of introducing nearly 10 characters providing you with a plethora of information about them while sneaking in subtle hierarchies and histories to make sure you are well informed. The setting does not fully reveal itself until later on in the book which was interesting and definitely a surprise. It is a good thing. The flow of information is definitely crafty. The last part of the book was the surprise, let’s just say for semi-mature audiences only.

Final thoughts:
war/SONG Hymnal I is a book that has all the parts to makes it the vampire book it is: the battle for the protection of humans, however humans are not really too much apart of the equation. Who is the bad guys or who is the good guys are not too aparent but what I will say is any cliche you try to throw at this book while reading it will be rejected and turned upside down. The added sultriness, crude humor and taboo sexual realism creates a story that is far from the usual. Its different due to the way the author establishes her dominance in a genre through capturing the reader in her world.

To read or not to read? Read it. If this is not a genre for you? Read it! If it is prepare to add this one to your list!

28th post.
